Trying something new!!

At our meeting last night, we discussed some changes and voted on them....

1.  Our new entry fee will be $25 for open barrels, $12 for open poles and youth barrels and poles.  8 and under will stay the same.  There will not be an office fee.  If you enter 3 times, your entry fee will be $75. 

2.  We are going to try a new payout.  We will pay all 4 Ds before any of the other Ds will be paid 2 places.  We will have the new payoff sheet at the next jackpot, if any on you want one, you can have it, so that you better understand.

3.  Instead of doing a whole bunch of little year end awards, we are now going to try to add some money to all of our jackpots.  We are still going to give saddles away, and we are going to do some awards for the youth and 8 and under.

4.  Looking at the $$, I think that we can add $100 to open barrels if there are 15 or more, $200 if there are 30 or more and $300 if there are 45 or more.  I also think we can add $50 to poles if there are 15 or more, and $100 if there are 30 or more.  If there are not 15 people entered, there will not be added money.

5.  We are also going to get a rule book, so that there is no question on rules.  One thing that was brought up is that if you are a youth and you want to carry your time over to open, that would have to be done before the open starts.

These are the year end results....I am not going to update the points on the right.  These are the final points.  Please let me know if you have a problem with anything.  Also, I need to know if you would prefer to have a picnic or go to a restaurant for our awards dinner.  At a restaurant you would be responsible for your families meal, we are thinking a buffet place to make things easier.  Picnic, would be potluck, Laura has suggested that we do cheesy potato casserole that they do are rodeo bible camp.  I need to know what your opinions are, you can facebook me, email me or call me.
